Senior Account Manager – UK Aerospace & Defence

Overview

In this role you lead UK sales for HBK’s real-time Linux-based systems and HIL solutions, engaging aerospace and defense customers, labs, and related organizations. You’ll translate complex technology into customer value, drive the full sales cycle, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to tailor offerings. The position offers regional impact with European contributions, high-growth potential, and a chance to shape critical defense and simulation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales activities across the UK, engaging aerospace and defense customers and research labs
• Deliver high-impact technical presentations on products and services (visual servers, GPU workbench, computing platforms, data-center tools)
• Collaborate with engineering and sales to understand needs and propose tailored solutions
• Generate and manage sales opportunities, close deals, and oversee renewals and expansions
• Negotiate pricing and coordinate delivery of solutions
• Support customers with technical challenges and identify upgrade opportunities
• Document and analyze customer feedback to inform strategy
• Identify market trends and share insights with senior leadership
• Set and achieve sales goals and provide training to teammates
• Travel up to 50% as needed

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or related field
• Proven experience selling complex technology solutions (visual servers, GPU systems, computing platforms, data-center tools)
• Ability to translate highly technical information for non-technical audiences
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
