Customer Service & Logistics Manager

Overview

In this role you will provide end-to-end leadership for customer service, inventory governance, warehousing and logistics, while driving strategic growth with key customers. You will safeguard inventory value, improve accuracy and audit readiness, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver service excellence. The position supports the finance function through stock verification and cost-effective operations, shaping the supply chain to enable business growth. You will lead a high-performing team, embed a culture of accountability, and collaborate across Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, Finance and Commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Customer Service teams to achieve high service levels and OTIF targets
• Own inventory governance for finished goods and raw materials
• Drive inventory accuracy, cycle counting, reconciliation and stock integrity
• Reduce variances, obsolete stock and write-offs while improving working capital
• Ensure audit readiness and support stock verification and compliance
• Manage logistics, warehousing, transport and freight performance
• Control warehouse and distribution budget (~1.5 million)
• Act as escalation point for CS, supply continuity and logistics issues
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, Finance and Commercial
• Support onboarding and performance management for strategic customers (e.g., McDonald’s EU)
• Deliver KPI reporting and continuous improvement programs
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures
• Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching and performance management

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business
• Proven leadership in customer service, logistics or supply chain management
• Strong inventory management, stock control and audit experience
• Financial awareness with experience managing budgets and working capital
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Continuous improvement and KPI management experience
