VAT POLICY & RISK MANAGEMENT, SENIOR MANAGER – London or Manchester

Overview

In this senior VAT leadership role, you will design and embed robust VAT risk frameworks and assurance programmes to protect the business from exposure. You’ll translate VAT legislation into practical operational outcomes across a global environment and provide actionable insights to senior leaders. You will foster cross-functional collaboration to embed controls, drive process improvements, and ensure regulatory alignment. Responsibilities

• Design, embed and continuously improve VAT risk frameworks and assurance programmes
• Ensure operational practices are robust, scalable and aligned with regulatory obligations
• Provide actionable VAT insights to senior leadership and mitigate VAT exposure
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with business, operations and risk management to embed controls
• Drive process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives

Key requirements

• Proven experience in designing VAT risk frameworks and assurance programmes
• Strong track record in cross-functional collaboration and embedding controls
• Experience in a global business environment; ideally from a large professional services or multinational background
