Overview

In this role you will lead and develop the branch’s Project Finance activity, driving growth of the project finance book and overseeing complex financing deals. You will work with cross‑functional teams to shape funding structures, assess feasibility, and present opportunities to internal and external stakeholders. You will build relationships with financial institutions and funding partners while ensuring compliance and effective risk management. This is a strategic, leadership‑oriented position rooted in the UK banking sector, offering a chance to influence branch goals and market presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead structuring, negotiation and execution of complex project financing deals
• Oversee preparations of financial models, forecasts and support financing decisions
• Develop and implement the branch’s project finance strategy aligned with branch goals
• Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and funding partners
• Foster knowledge sharing within the Corporate Banking Department
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance
• Act as the main representative for Project Finance for the branch and deliver high-level presentations

Key requirements

• Solid UK banking experience in Project Finance
• Ability to bring in new local business/contacts
• Financial Planning and Analysis experience in Banking
• Experience in strategic leadership, financing and investment oversight
• Excellent English (Mandarin beneficial)
