Network Infrastructure Engineer – Trading systems

Overview

In this role you will support mission-critical trading infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep global data-center services running for leading financial clients. You will help maintain and improve the customer-facing infrastructure that underpins a premier trading system, with opportunities to engage in automation and scale across distributed environments. The role combines hands-on technical support with ongoing optimization and documentation efforts. Responsibilities

• Respond to client infrastructure and network inquiries promptly
• Support customers with server issues and network connectivity
• Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
• Analyze server failures and implement preventive solutions
• Automate server deployment
• Deploy, monitor and maintain globally distributed data centre infrastructure

Key requirements

• STEM degree
• 2+ years’ experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure
• CCNA or CCNP routing and switching or equivalent
• Hardware setup and maintenance experience
• Interest in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
• Some Linux experience
• Network configuration and server setup
• Virtualisation
