Overview
In this role you will craft compelling bid content and manage the writing process for diverse tender opportunities. You will work within the Bid Team to turn complex information into clear, persuasive responses that win new business. You’ll coach junior writers, align proposals with client evaluation criteria, and coordinate content reuse and bid planning. Responsibilities
- Write technical and non-technical tender responses
- Coordinate writing process for low, medium and high priority bids
- Assist in bid management processes and mentor junior writers
- Review opportunities and assess positives/negatives
- Structure proposals to client evaluation requirements
- Advise on reuse of content from past proposals
- Assist with answer plans, storyboards and bid plans
- Apply bid review processes to submissions
- Report bid progress internally
- Provide proofreading and editing support
- Set up bid response documents
- Create and edit bid responses for PQQ/SQ and Stage 1 documents
- Submit proposals via portals or email per client requirements
- Complete company information and standard responses in bids
- Prepare CVs and case studies for bids
- Provide general administration support to the Bid team
- Liaise with other departments to provide professional service to stakeholders

- 12+ months of bid writing/tender/proposal experience
- Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Degree-level education (ideally English, Journalism, Communications or related) or equivalent experience
- APMP Foundation qualification or willingness to pursue
- Understanding or willingness to learn about construction and property industry
