Production Supervisor

Overview

As a Production Supervisor, you lead a team to safely deliver critical work packages within safety, quality, cost and schedule targets. You translate business priorities into practical plans, deploying people, equipment and resources to meet production objectives. You will drive continuous improvement, boost operational performance and develop the workforce, contributing to nationally important defence programmes. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities to meet contractual commitments and objectives
• Set clear priorities and coordinate work across multiple disciplines
• Monitor performance against targets and implement recovery plans as needed
• Champion safety culture and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Develop team capability through coaching, performance management, engagement, and workforce planning

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading teams in production, manufacturing, engineering, shipbuilding or industrial settings
• Track record delivering safety, quality, cost and schedule targets
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe systems of work
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation and production specs
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and people leadership
