This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to take ownership of the maintenance strategy within a 24/7 manufacturing operation, leading a team of Mechanical & Electrical Technicians and driving improvements in asset reliability, downtime, performance and continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards, maximising availability and performance to support the demands of a 24/7 manufacturing operation. This will be achieved through the direct leadership of a team of approximately50 which includes maintenance and tooling teams across a range of shift patterns including dayshift, 12 hour continental shifts, days and nights. The role reports into the Senior Manufacturing Manager with 3 Maintenance Supervisors reporting into the role covering mechanical / electrical and tooling.
HND or equivalent recognised time-served engineering qualification
Proven experience in a similar Maintenance Management role
Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience with CMMS
Strong technical and problem-solving ability
Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills
IOSH / NEBOSH and knowledge of maintenance best practice would be advantageous.
