Senior Capital Actuary

A leading global actuarial and risk consultancy is looking for an experienced Capital Actuary to join their Insurance practice, advising (re)insurance clients across the London Market and internationally on capital modelling, Solvency II/UK, and regulatory capital requirements.You’ll work directly with senior client stakeholders – CFOs, CROs, and Heads of Capital – on internal model development and validation, capital optimisation, and regulatory engagement, while also contributing to broader risk and strategic advisory work across the practice.

What they’re looking for:

• Qualified actuary (IFoA or equivalent) with strong capital modelling experience (internal model, standard formula, or economic capital)
• Background in general insurance/non-life, ideally with London Market or Lloyd’s exposure
• Consulting experience preferred, but strong candidates from industry with client-facing exposure will be considered
• Confident communicator, comfortable leading client relationships and mentoring junior team members
