Junior Software Developer (KDB+/Q)

Overview

In this role you design, implement, test, and maintain a service-oriented kdb+ architecture, collaborating with researchers and traders. You normalize diverse datasets to support a unified model of reality and build scalable data infrastructure exposed to users worldwide. You own key infrastructure components and provide level 2+ support for critical services during live trading. This position offers impact across data-focused platforms and the chance to shape how data drives decisions in a fast-paced trading environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to advance robust, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers and traders to design and implement service-oriented kdb+ architecture
• Design and normalize datasets to support a consistent data model
• Build robust, scalable infrastructure to expose data to users globally
• Own key parts of the infrastructure and provide level 2+ support during live trading
• Test and maintain critical services and ensure reliability in production

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject
• Up to 4 years of experience with kdb+/q
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and grow with the team
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
