Senior Associate – Supply Chain Management

Overview

In this role you will lead G&T’s supply chain management services, guiding multi-project portfolios and advising senior clients on strategic risks and opportunities. You’ll shape the practice, mentor colleagues, and support business growth through fee forecasting and thought leadership. You work across public and private sector infrastructure projects, delivering data-informed insights and resilient supplier performance. This is a partner-led, collaborative environment with a clear focus on sustainable, long-term impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead major supply chain projects and programmes with accountability for outcomes
• Develop and implement market engagement strategies (Market Soundings, Roundtables, 1-2-1s)
• Deliver Supplier Relationship Management strategies for long-term supplier relationships
• Undertake supply chain capacity studies across end-to-end value chain
• Advise senior clients on supply chain risks, opportunities and innovations
• Manage a team and ensure high delivery standards
• Take responsibility for fee recovery, forecasting and identifying new business opportunities
• Support Partners in developing fee proposals and appointment documentation
• Provide thought leadership via articles, presentations and industry engagement
• Coach and develop colleagues to support career growth

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading client supply chain, procurement or commercial leadership in infrastructure or construction
• Ability to manage multiple, complex projects with excellent service delivery
• Strong understanding of UK and international infrastructure markets
• Experience with data analytics and understanding economic indices and business health
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with team management experience
• Commercially astute with ability to identify growth opportunities
• Established industry profile with activity in sector networks and forums
• Degree qualified with professional membership (MCIPS, RICS, APM or equivalent) preferred
• Experience of public sector procurement per PA23; experience in regulatory environments desired
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for senior stakeholder engagement
