Overview

As a Product Designer on the JPMM Platform, you shape end-to-end experiences for a high-impact market platform. You partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver accessible, scalable experiences that meet business goals. You will work from concept to pixel, upholding quality while navigating ambiguity, and you’ll contribute to platform-wide consistency and design-system guided development.

Responsibilities

  • Design web and mobile experiences for the JPMM platform with a high bar for UX quality—visual design, layout, typography, and interaction polish
  • Translate complex requirements into clear flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UI specs, balancing speed, quality, and scalability
  • Design AI-enabled experiences to help users understand, trust, and act on model-driven outputs (explanations, confidence signals, human-in-the-loop, fallbacks)
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and partners to define how experiences and AI outputs are presented and integrated into workflows
  • Leverage AI in your design workflow to accelerate exploration and iteration while maintaining governance for regulated environments
  • Promote platform-wide consistency through reusable patterns and a design-system-first approach; contribute components and guidance
  • Collaborate across teams to align end-to-end experiences, identify UX debt, and simplify and standardize usability
  • Partner with Research and Insights to incorporate user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Ensure inclusive experiences by applying accessibility standards across diverse users and contexts

Key requirements

  • 5+ years of product/UX design experience with shipped digital products
  • Strong visual/UI design capabilities and production-quality specs
  • Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows and data-intensive experiences
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and handoff to engineers; familiarity with front-end constraints
