Project Controls Manager

Overview

As a Project Controls Manager, you will oversee controls for major infrastructure and transportation programmes in the South East, enabling robust planning, risk and cost management with data-driven insight. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support delivery across the full project lifecycle, from business case through to benefits realisation. The role blends client-facing leadership with a focus on digital controls and continuous improvement, contributing to Arcadis’ global project controls community. This is an opportunity to shape large-scale projects and drive measurable outcomes for clients and the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing project controls delivery on major infrastructure and transportation programmes
• Provide integrated controls across planning, risk, cost and performance management
• Champion digital project controls and data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with Project Management, Cost & Commercial, Design & Engineering, Advisory and Digital Intelligence teams
• Contribute to the growth and development of Arcadis’ global Project & Programme Controls community

Key requirements

• Experience in project controls across Rail Infrastructure, Transportation and/or Buildings
• Strong understanding of planning & scheduling, risk management, cost engineering, scope management and digital controls solutions
• Experience supporting projects through mobilisation, delivery, handover and benefits realisation
• Ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors and design teams
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Professional certifications such as APM Planning & Controls, Oracle Primavera P6, MSP and/or Risk Management qualifications
