You join a leading national law firm in its medical negligence team to handle a broad range of complex clinical negligence cases. You will manage your own caseload from day one while supporting senior lawyers on high‑value matters. The role blends independent work with strong team collaboration within a respected claimant practice. You’ll work hybrid in Sheffield or Nottingham, contributing to meaningful outcomes for clients. Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of clinical negligence matters from the outset
• Take client instructions and provide clear, empathetic legal advice
• Assist Partners and senior solicitors on high‑value and complex claims
• Pursue interim payments to support client rehabilitation and care
• Review cases with supervisors to ensure quality and consistency
• Attend the Sheffield or Nottingham office as required (hybrid working)

Key requirements

• 4-6 years PQE in medical negligence
• Experience handling complex clinical negligence matters
• Strong commercial awareness
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
• Willingness to attend the Sheffield office 1-2 days per week (or Nottingham with visits to Sheffield)
