Structural Engineer

Overview

In this role you contribute to a growing, well-established structural engineering consultancy in Oxfordshire. You’ll work on projects from concept to completion, collaborating with a small, supportive team and gaining client-facing experience. You will develop your technical skills toward Chartered Engineer status while taking on increasing responsibility. Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects from concept through to completion
• Design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry as required
• Communicate confidently with colleagues, clients and other design professionals
• Collaborate in a small, supportive team and develop technical skills
• Engage in a mentoring environment and pursue Chartered Engineer status

Key requirements

• 2–5 years’ experience in structural engineering consultancy
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience designing with common structural materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry)
• Familiarity with industry-standard design software
• Good communication with colleagues and clients
• Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to develop technical skills
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status or planning to
