Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
• Monitor financial performance and provide insightful analysis to stakeholders
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance and compliance processes are maintained
• Support year-end reporting, audits and statutory requirements
• Contribute to financial modelling, business cases and decision-making
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation

Key requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience within a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar role
• Strong financial reporting, planning and analysis skills
• Good understanding of financial controls and governance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a changing environment
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience
• A proactive approach and a desire to continuously improve processes and ways of working
