We are partnering with a leading international Law Firm to recruit a Senior Advisor, Financial Crime Policy & Advisory on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a highly visible role supporting stakeholders across the UK, US and EMEA, with a focus on strengthening financial crime frameworks and ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
This opportunity would suit an experienced financial crime professional with a strong background in AML advisory, policy development, regulatory change, and financial crime risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advisory support on AML and broader financial crime matters across the business.
- Lead the development, review and enhancement of financial crime policies, procedures and controls.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments across the UK, US and EMEA, assessing business impacts and recommending appropriate actions.
- Conduct financial crime and AML risk assessments, identifying emerging risks and control enhancements.
- Support the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of financial crime frameworks and governance arrangements.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to embed regulatory requirements and best practice into business processes.
- Contribute to strategic regulatory change projects and financial crime initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
About You
- Experience within AML or financial crime advisory.
- Strong understanding of AML regulations and wider financial crime compliance requirements.
- Experience developing and maintaining policies, frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proven ability to assess regulatory change and translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to advise senior decision-makers.
- Commercially minded, analytical and solutions-focused approach.
