Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of residential development matters with a focus on affordable housing and BTR/PRS transactions
• Lead and manage complex transactions with autonomy across the project lifecycle
• Support land acquisition, site setup, and plot sales activities for development schemes
• Coordinate infrastructure agreements and management structures related to developments
• Engage with high-profile clients and provide strong client-handling and commercial guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including litigation, planning, tax, and plot set up to deliver transactions
• Contribute to JV projects and affordable housing acquisitions/purchases
• Participate in the firm’s career development and training initiatives to maintain high technical standards

Key requirements

• Experience as a residential development lawyer with strong affordable housing expertise
• Knowledge of affordable housing and/or Build-to-Rent/PRS transactions
• Ability to manage complex matters with autonomy
• Excellent client-handling skills
• Strong commercial awareness
• Collaborative and proactive approach
• Experience at Senior Associate or Associate Director level, or equivalent
