Senior Medical Writer

Overview

As a Senior Medical Writer on our Publication team, you will shape medical content for respiratory therapies within a global network. You will report to a Scientific Director and collaborate with senior leaders to deliver manuscripts, congress submissions, and related materials. The role spans primary/secondary publications, reviews, and publication extender pieces, plus workshops and scientific narratives; occasional medical affairs scripts or videos may arise. This is a high-impact role in a scaling, cross-functional medical communications environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce publications including primary/secondary manuscripts, reviews, congress submissions, and presentations (abstracts, posters, oral)
• Create publication extender materials (plain language summaries, graphical abstracts)
• Lead publication workshops and develop scientific narratives
• Contribute to occasional medical affairs tasks (scripts, videos)

Key requirements

• Medical Writing experience in a medical communications agency
• Preferable publications experience
• Academic background in the life sciences
