Overview

As a PowerBI Developer in Tesco Mobile’s Analytics & Insight Chapter, you enable data democratization by building accessible, insights-driven BI dashboards. You work closely with stakeholders to understand needs, integrate multiple data sources, and present actionable insights that drive customer-centric decisions. You’ll operate in an Agile squad, delivering end-to-end BI products and challenging the status quo to keep the customer at the heart of decisions. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance BI reports and dashboards that are visually engaging
• Translate briefs from the business into holistic data views using internal and external data sources
• Join the PowerBI & Analytics squad to deliver end-to-end value to Tribes and Centres of Excellence
• Participate in all squad ceremonies, raising impediments to support delivery
• Continuously inspect and adapt working practices for improvement
• Foster an Agile culture to grow organizational agility
• Provide accurate, timely analysis to support better business decisions
• Simplify complex data to deliver precise, easily understood insights
• Maintain integrity and due diligence in all analyses

Key requirements

• Strong BI dashboard development experience (PowerBI/MS Fabric)
• Experience with AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tabnine)
• Experience in enabling stakeholder self-service data access (bonus)
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor communication for technical and non-technical audiences
• Interest in deriving insights from large datasets and sharing broadly
• Proven ability to create engaging, actionable data visuals
• Proficiency in coding complex SQL against large relational databases
• Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or similar numerate field
• Ability to resolve data-related problems and manage multiple priorities
