Heating Engineer (Heat Pumps)

Overview

In this role you design and install heat pump systems within a local York patch, with no overnight stays. You’ll take responsibility for both design and delivery of ASHP/GSHP installations, performing inspections and fault-finding across domestic and commercial sites. The role offers clear progression as the team grows and a stable, long-term opportunity in renewables. You will work closely with customers to deliver quality, service-focused heating solutions that align with the company’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Design heat pump systems following customer surveys
• Install, maintain and repair ASHP/GSHP and associated heating systems
• Inspections, diagnostics and fault-finding (domestic & commercial)
• Work on a local York patch (no stays away) and 40 hours/week

Key requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
• Air Source / Ground Source heat pump experience (ASHP/GSHP)
• Full UK driving licence
