Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team.

Experience with flatbed lorries is preferred, as the role may involve transporting oversized or heavy loads.
Responsibilities Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo, particularly for flatbed deliveries.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.
Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.
Experience Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) is essential.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of road safety regulations.
Experience operating flatbed lorries is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
