Overview
In this role you will set the direction for UX research across a business or product line, shaping understanding of user needs and informing strategy. You will lead a range of research methods, translate insights into design decisions, and mentor junior researchers. You collaborate with UX, design and tech teams to drive user-centred solutions with measurable impact. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends research excellence with cross-team influence and growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead UX research across a business or product line and define the research direction
- Understand user behaviours, needs and use cases; integrate feedback into design and align teams
- Apply diverse UX research techniques and mentor junior researchers
- Produce research documentation and collaborate with UX and visual designers to shape structure and identity
- Use data-driven analysis and testing to inform strategy, establish metrics and iterate research methods
- Mentor fellow researchers and collaborate with tech teams to improve methods and outputs
- Foster cross-team collaboration, open communication and remove performance barriers
