Overview

In this role, you will conduct and translate user research into actionable product insights for Elsevier’s A&G segment. You’ll partner with designers, product teams and researchers to understand user needs and inform decisions that improve experiences. You will apply a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover motivations, use cases and market context, contributing to iterative product design and a user-centered strategy. Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute UX research activities in collaboration with design and product partners
  • Deliver qualitative and quantitative studies from planning to socialising insights using diverse methods
  • Understand user needs, use cases and analytics to guide design decisions
  • Contribute to rapid iteration of product structure, layout and visual identity
  • Investigate market segments and competitors to inform product strategy

Key requirements

  • Familiarity with UX research practices and tools (quantitative and qualitative) and ability to select methods per context
  • Strong experience in planning and delivering user research initiatives (surveys, interviews, diary, ethnographic studies, usability testing, analytics)
  • Ability to build relationships across teams and clearly articulate insights to diverse audiences
  • Growth mindset with ownership of learning and feedback seeking
  • Independent problem-solving with effective questioning and cross-source data integration
