Senior Technical Manager – Berkshire

Overview

In this role you will lead technical delivery on residential developments, from traditional builds to luxury apartments, ensuring technical integrity and on-time completion. You will manage a growing technical team and work with cross-functional stakeholders to secure new schemes. The position sits within a reputable residential developer with an autonomous operating model and a strong project portfolio. You will shape delivery strategies and drive projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

• lead and develop a diverse technical team across levels
• oversee delivery of residential schemes from traditional builds to luxury apartments
• drive projects through to completion with strong problem solving and communication
• contribute to planning and feasibility processes for mixed tenure developments
• coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to secure new developments
• mentor junior staff and support their development
• ensure technical integrity and quality across projects

Key requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical role
• experience on mixed tenure private/affordable apartment development
• 2 years’ experience developing junior employees
• knowledge of the planning process
• ability to manage and develop a technical team
• experience in residential traditional build projects
• previous experience with residential developers
• strong problem solving, communication, and analytical skills
