Overview

As National Sales Director, EAME, you will build and scale Hyatt’s self-funding regional sales force across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. You will lead a multi-market team, drive incremental demand, and own the P&L to deliver sustainable growth for hotels, owners and operators. You’ll partner with Global Sales and other functions to ensure governance and effective execution. This role offers the chance to shape Hyatt’s regional sales strategy and expand our market presence in a dynamic, global hospitality landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the EAME national sales strategy targeting priority markets and segments
  • Build and develop a geographically dispersed team of Account Directors and prospecting resources
  • Drive new account acquisition across Corporate, SME, MICE, Leisure, Luxury and other segments
  • Own the national sales P&L, including revenue delivery, cost management and breakeven progress
  • Establish market and account-ownership principles to extend reach without duplicating existing coverage
  • Improve pipeline quality and conversion with hotels and commercial teams
  • Cultivate relationships with owners, operators, GMs and hotel Commercial Leaders to demonstrate value of the self-funding model
  • Partner with Global Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, Legal, HR, Operations and others to ensure governance
  • Use performance insights to guide market deployment, investment and continuous improvement
  • Represent Hyatt at industry forums to strengthen market presence and identify new opportunities

Key requirements

  • Significant senior leadership experience within hospitality sales
  • Proven success leading geographically dispersed sales teams with revenue growth across markets
  • Deep multi-segment sales expertise across Corporate Transient, MICE, Leisure, Luxury, Intermediaries, SME and specialist segments
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen including P&L ownership, budgeting and ROI analysis
  • Experience building new markets and self-funding or pay-for-performance models
  • Business-development, negotiation, analytical and executive-influencing capabilities
  • Ability to operate in a complex, global, matrixed environment and build cross-stakeholder relationships
  • Fluent English; additional EAME languages advantageous
