Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical maintenance on site, ensuring safe and reliable plant operation. You will work within a shift-based team to plan, execute and report on electrical tasks, while supporting continuous improvement and safeguarding health, safety, and environment standards. You’ll mentor apprentices and colleagues, driving efficient maintenance and preventing recurrence of issues. This position offers exposure to SEA-related analysis and a clear impact on plant reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all electrical work (planned and breakdown) on the plant
• Provide first line maintenance/breakdown support
• Manage electrical activities on shift to meet HSE requirements
• Assist with shift activity planning where expertise is needed
• Support continuous improvement activities
• Provide reports on plant breakdowns to aid SEA analyses and action implementation
• Generate accurate engineering reports
• Lead, coach and develop other employees, including apprentices
