Overview
As a Senior Game Designer in the Player Value team for Candy Crush Saga, you will shape long-term player journeys to maximize value, engagement and delight. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to redesign moments that matter and drive cohesive experiences across onboarding, progression and rewards. You’ll translate insights from data and feedback into design strategies, balancing immediate needs with scalable, systemic improvements. This role offers impact at the ecosystem level, with a focus on player-centric value and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of high-impact player experiences across features, systems and teams
- Shape and evolve key player journeys (onboarding, progression, rewards) to influence long-term engagement
- Develop a holistic vision for player value with cohesive experiences throughout the game
- Drive discovery and concept development for opportunities that improve satisfaction, engagement and business outcomes
- Collaborate across product teams to align experiences into a seamless player journey
- Create design documentation, player journey maps and experience frameworks to communicate vision and drive execution
- Use qualitative research, player feedback and quantitative data to identify friction points and validate decisions
- Stay informed on market trends and evolving design practices to bring fresh thinking
- Champion systems thinking to ensure new experiences fit the broader Candy Crush ecosystem and long-term value
