The client ideally requires drivers with 12 months’ experience but will also consider drivers with a solid 6 months of recent Class 1 experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering dairy and fresh food products to stores and regional distribution hubs.
- Loading and unloading using roll cages, providing a varied and active working day.
- Operating modern, well-maintained vehicles as part of a professional transport operation.

Requirements
- Valid UK LGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience
- Drivers with a solid 6 months’ recent Class 1 experience will also be considered
- Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Positive attitude and professional approach to work
- Reasonable level of physical fitness
Pay Rates:
- Days – £18ph
- Nights – £19ph
- Weekends – Up to £23.50ph
Holiday pay is accrued separately, or can be taken weekly, which would increase your hourly rate to;
Days – £20.17
Nights – £ 21.29
Weekends – Up to £26.34
