Are you an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician looking for a varied role within a specialist industrial environment?
Our client is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production and gas plant facilities.
You’ll be responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance, servicing instrumentation and control equipment, responding to breakdowns, supporting new installations and working alongside specialist engineers and contractors.

The Role*Carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs*Servicing process control instrumentation including transmitters, controllers and analysers*Maintaining site services and equipment to a safe working standard*Responding to out-of-hours plant breakdowns where required*Carrying out equipment isolations to permit requirements*Supporting installation and commissioning of new plant*Working with specialist engineers and contractors*Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
The Candidate*4-5 years’ relevant maintenance experience*Instrumentation qualification – Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3*Good working knowledge of electrical systems*Understanding of the oil & gas industry*Strong problem-solving skills*Able to plan and prioritise effectively*Reliable, proactive and able to work under pressure*IT literate and confident communicating with colleagues and contractors
