Investment Associate

Overview

In this role you will lead investment efforts for Egg Power’s renewable energy projects, focusing on UK and Western Europe. You will engage internal and external stakeholders to assess, structure, and invest in wind and solar assets and CPPAs, contributing to a 500 GWh ambition. You’ll work on deal valuation, modelling, and negotiations, with growth into onsite project support. This is an entrepreneurial, hands-on position within a founding team driving energy transition for Liberty Global’s ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewable asset valuation and investment decisions
• Originate and structure energy projects and CPPAs, delivering value and risk control
• Develop and maintain financial models and supporting tools
• Lead bids and negotiations for wind and solar assets and onsite projects
• Coordinate legal, tax, treasury, and other internal functions
• Assess regulatory, market, and operational risks in investments
• Prepare investment materials for approvals and external discussions
• Drive learnings and improvements across bid cycles

Key requirements

• Investment modelling experience in UK/Europe renewable energy
• Experience with deal transactions in energy or related markets
• Commercial negotiation skills and PPA experience
• Ongoing learning mindset about evolving European energy markets
• Project management and team development skills
• Advanced Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation competence
• Experience in corporate strategy, M&A or related roles
• Fluent in English; additional European language preferred
