In this Consultant Rheumatologist role at Tameside, you join a growing team shaping integrated care across hospital and community services. Responsibilities

• Manage and balance Rheumatology workload within the department
• Assist in optimising patient pathways and integrating services with tertiary centres
• Participate in junior doctor training and research activities
• Contribute to service improvements and best practice in inpatient and outpatient care
• Lead or support audits and governance activities to drive change
• Engage in teaching and collaboration with related teams and primary care

Key requirements

• Full GMC registration with a valid license to practice
• Inclusion on Specialist Register or admission within 6 months of interview
• MB ChB
• MRCP UK or Ireland
• MRCP Rheumatology
• Wide experience in Rheumatology
• Experience of teaching juniors and medical staff
• Good understanding of clinical governance
• Appropriate Home Office status for UK career post
