Textiles Production Operative (Night Shift)

Job Title: Textiles production operative

Salary: 13.17 p/hr + night shift allowance

Location: HD9

Stafflex are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are a well established textiles manufacturer and are looking for a night shift worker to join their finishing team.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has some experience in textiles and is OK with heavy lifting / manual handling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cutting rolls of fabrics to size
• Lifting the rolls of fabric
• Operating large industrial machines
• Meet production targets by following job cards

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable with doing a physical role that involves heavy lifting
• Good with numbers as you will need to accurately measure fabric lengths
• Ideally drive due to the shift times when on nights
• Some textiles experience / background knowledge or other transferable skills.

Hours:

Training: 6am – 2pm for the first couple of weeks

After Training (nights): 4:30pm – 02:30am + night shift allowance

Monday – Thursday
