Careers Digital Information Officer (REDEPLOYEE APPLICANTS ONLY)

Overview

In this role you will optimise and develop online careers systems to provide City St George’s students and graduates with easy access to digital careers and employability support. You will work within the Careers and Employability Directorate to enhance the CareersHub and related services, shaping a better user experience. You will collaborate with multiple teams to analyse data, update content, and train staff. This position offers the opportunity to impact student outcomes through modern, accessible digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide careers system user support, diagnose problems, and escalate to IT/vendors as needed
• Optimise configuration and design of CareersHub and other website subscriptions; review analytics to inform development
• Manage and update content on CareersHub and Intranet (SharePoint); train staff and document best practices

Key requirements

• Content management experience including web content curation
• Basic HTML and accessibility knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; strong Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Interest in technology and AI with ability to propose improvements to user experience
• Ability to identify customer needs, resolve issues or escalate appropriately
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
