Global Finance Lead – Revenue Focus

Overview

As Global Finance Leader, you will own the end-to-end revenue lifecycle and drive commercial performance across a global partnership. You will partner with senior stakeholders to enhance revenue, optimise cash collection, and reinforce financial discipline across jurisdictions. The role combines leadership, process optimisation, and data-driven insights to improve profitability and cash flow. You will shape revenue governance and reporting, while developing an international finance team. This is a high-impact role at a leading international law firm with a global footprint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global revenue cycle with consistent processes, governance, and controls
• Drive billing and collections strategy to improve cash flow and reduce lock-up
• Partner with senior stakeholders to enhance matter profitability and revenue realisation
• Deliver insightful reporting and KPIs to enable strategic decision-making
• Strengthen risk management, compliance, and credit control processes
• Optimise systems, data, and technology to boost efficiency and transparency
• Lead and develop an international team, embedding best practice and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent preferred)
• Significant leadership experience in revenue control or finance within a global organisation
• Strong understanding of partner-led business models, billing structures, and client dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive behavioural change
• Deep expertise in revenue optimisation, collections strategy, and financial performance management
• Experience managing international teams and operating across multiple jurisdictions
• Technologically strong, with an interest in data, analytics, and process automation
