Overview

In this GCIB Change Management role, you will oversee delivery of change initiatives within MUFGs Global Corporate & Investment Banking. You will support the Programme Manager to drive strategic projects, ensuring on-schedule delivery and clear governance across the organisation. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain robust project documentation. This position offers exposure to senior stakeholders and a chance to influence how major transformations are executed across EMEA GCIB.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle for GCIB initiatives and support programme lead in delivery
  • Oversee delivery with transparent risks, issues and dependencies aligned to owners
  • Create and maintain project work plans and adapt to changing needs
  • Ensure project documents are complete and properly stored
  • Facilitate analysis to support streamlined decision making
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes
  • Coordinate with 1st and 2nd Lines of Defence for policy compliance
  • Run steering committees and cross-functional working groups; track actions against timelines
  • Submit status reports and provide updates to steering committees
  • Create lifecycle documentation (business case, feasibility, BRD, implementation strategy, closure packs)
  • Define Target Operating Models across functions/regions and implement
  • Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining quality

Key requirements

  • Strong investment banking experience or management consultancy within financial institutions
  • Solid project management experience with proven delivery
  • Solid Business Analysis experience
  • Proven Front Office change projects experience and framework development/implementation
  • Governance experience across the Three Lines of Defence; framework definition and implementation
  • Transformation delivery and change management experience
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication

  • Understanding of 1st Line of Defense framework
