Senior Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will help build a next-generation cloud-native platform, shaping architecture with senior tech leadership. You’ll work full-stack across React/TypeScript on the frontend and Python/Node.js on the backend, with PostgreSQL data stores, all on AWS serverless/microservices. You’ll mentor a junior AI developer and contribute to an AI-first development workflow. This is a unique chance to influence platform scale and engineering standards within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features across the full stack (React/TypeScript frontend, Python/Node.js backend, PostgreSQL) on AWS serverless/microservices
• Shape technical design and architecture decisions for the new platform
• Mentor a junior AI developer and raise engineering standards
• Contribute to an AI-first development environment and workflows

Key requirements

• Senior-level full-stack experience
• Proficiency with React/TypeScript, Python or Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS serverless/microservices
• Experience contributing to greenfield builds, major refactors, or distributed systems
• Some mentoring experience with less experienced developers
• Nice-to-have: experience with accounting, financial, or ERP software
