Project Controls Reporting Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the development of a robust, data-driven reporting framework for the programme, partnering with the Systems and Digital team to embed automated, scalable reporting and Power BI capabilities. You will drive future-state reporting, ensure consistency across the Programme, and manage change and stakeholder engagement during transitions. You will deliver clear, insight-led outputs that become the single source of truth for decision-makers, tackling data consolidation challenges with standardized templates and processes. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that shapes reporting strategy within a complex, matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the programme’s reporting framework and performance management in line with the PMO plan
• Build and deploy future-state reporting with Power BI, focusing on automation and data integration
• Collaborate with Systems and Digital teams to align reporting requirements with the digital strategy
• Coordinate cross-Programme engagement to standardize reporting and ensure alignment
• Manage transition to new reporting arrangements with change management, training, and initial QA
• Ensure reporting covers delivery, enabling projects, and benefits realisation per governance requirements
• Promote a data-driven reporting culture with clear, accurate, insight-led outputs
• Address data consolidation through standardized templates and consistent data structures

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in reporting or controls on large programmes in complex environments
• Experience implementing new processes across matrix organisations
• Strong understanding of project controls functions
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships
