Overview
In this role you contribute to economic analysis for regulated energy and infrastructure policies. You work with cross-functional experts to develop rigorous insights that help clients make informed decisions. You will produce research reports, presentations, and policy-focused analyses while influencing project strategy and knowledge sharing. The position combines academic rigor with practical impact, within a collegial, development‑minded environment.

Responsibilities
- Assess climate change and energy policy impacts, including emissions, renewable energy, and energy efficiency policies
- Conduct economic impact analyses of regulations on markets, businesses, and assets
- Model auction design and simulations; perform competitors’ analyses
- Develop pricing systems for transport infrastructure
- Prepare expert reports for litigation and arbitration
- Write research reports and client presentations to inform decisions
- Influence project strategy and deliver oral/written submissions
- Collaborate with in-house experts and external academics
- Develop project and people management skills and deliver internal training
Key requirements
- BA/BSc in Economics plus a Master’s or PhD in Economics with strong academic records
- Strong interest in microeconomics, IO, econometrics and finance
- Proficiency in Excel, Stata, R, Python or similar quantitative software
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking with high attention to detail
- Strong English communication skills; additional language useful but not essential
