Public Law & Human Rights Solicitor NQ – 4 PQE – Bristol

Overview

In this role you will handle a varied Court of Protection welfare caseload for vulnerable adults, supporting their rights in health, care and autonomy matters. You join a respected Public Law and Human Rights team and help grow the firm’s safeguarding and advocacy work. You will work with multidisciplinary partners, delivering clear, empathetic advice in sensitive disputes. The position offers a meaningful path to shape outcomes for clients while developing your leadership and policy-influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage own Court of Protection welfare caseload
• Represent clients in complex and sensitive disputes
• Supervise and support junior colleagues
• Help develop the team’s profile and relationships with partner organisations
• Deliver advice to vulnerable individuals with empathy and professionalism

• Experience running own COP welfare matters
