Overview
In this leadership role, you steer the National Accounts Team within FoB Fleet to grow fleet and vehicle sales across the UK, shaping the Go-To-Market approach with Ford Pro services. You will partner with Ford Pro, Aftersales and CX to deliver best-in-class customer interactions, while driving strategy, forecasting, and large-tender execution for major fleets. This is a high-visibility position with up to 7 direct reports, requiring strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making to fuel Ford’s fleet ambitions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee account management for 100+ National Accounts Fleets
- Deliver commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle sales plans to achieve growth and VETS compliance
- Lead Fleet Go-To-Market strategy implementation including Ford Pro services
- Maintain sales forecasts and plans by customer; manage regular forecasting processes
- Enhance customer and pipeline management using Salesforce & AI
- Leverage lifetime margin data to inform commercial recommendations
- Lead high-performing sales team with up to 7 direct reports
- Coordinate large tender activity to differentiate Ford proposals and value
- Ensure Ford Pro product offering is delivered across all pillars to major corporate customers
- Manage product launches and runout volumes for new vehicles
- Develop and review short/medium/long-term sales plans to stimulate conquest growth
- Present fleet proposals delivering value and profitability; manage weekly stakeholder calls
- Maintain relationships with dealerships, leasing companies and converters across the supply chain
- Utilise Salesforce as the CRM for wider visibility of customer opportunities
- Travel nationally; time in FoB Office in Dunton to maintain internal stakeholder relationships
Key requirements
- Field experience (customer and/or dealer facing) essential
- Strong product knowledge across all Ford Vehicles & Ford Pro services
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access
- CRM systems such as Salesforce; experience with data-driven decision making
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills; ability to achieve results
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Emotional resilience and drive for results
- Previous supervisory experience leading a high-performing sales team
- Ability to travel regularly and attend the Dunton Campus ~4 days/week
