Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, Health Care – Payer and Provider

Overview

In this role you shape analytically rigorous, commercially grounded health care insights for NHS clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impact. You serve as a subject-matter expert on NHS bodies and Integrated Care Boards, supporting proposals, IP development, and tool design. You translate data into actionable recommendations and help develop scalable diagnostic tools and AI-enabled solutions. You will work with international teams to apply UK health care expertise across engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as health care expert on NHS, Integrated Care Boards and Trusts to inform strategic recommendations
• Support proposals, client engagements, IP development, and tool design
• Analyze financial and operational performance of NHS entities and benchmark comparisons
• Identify improvement areas and help develop implementation concepts and new business opportunities
• Monitor UK health care policy changes and assess their implications for projects
• Support tender bidding processes in NHS environments
• Build and improve reusable strategic diagnostic tools and AI-enabled solutions
• Provide UK health care payer and provider expertise to international teams

Key requirements

• 2+ years of consulting in strategy within the NHS environment, or 3+ years in a strategic NHS national body/ICB/Trust
• Comfort owning slide creation and executive messaging based on detailed analysis
• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) in relevant subjects
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus
