Overview

As a senior Data Platform Architect at Credera, you will shape data and AI capabilities on cloud platforms for public sector and regulated clients. You’ll set architectural direction, advise senior stakeholders, and lead delivery teams to build scalable, secure data and AI solutions. You’ll integrate machine learning, Generative AI, and large language models into enterprise-grade systems, spanning the data lifecycle from ingestion to governance. This role blends hands-on architecture with strategic leadership in a flexible, security-conscious environment. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact transformations that align with Credera’s mission and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Set architectural direction for data and AI platforms on AWS and cloud-native ecosystems
• Advise senior stakeholders and lead delivery teams across complex delivery areas
• Integrate ML, Generative AI, and LLMs into scalable, secure enterprise solutions
• Design scalable batch and real-time data pipelines spanning microservices/API-driven architectures
• Mentor engineers and architects; foster capability building within teams and client counterparts
• Manage risk, governance, and security in public sector and regulated environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve programme objectives

Key requirements

• 8+ years in data, analytics and AI platform architecture, design and delivery
• Expertise in AWS cloud-native data and analytics platforms across the data value chain
• Experience designing scalable components for batch and real-time processing in microservices/API architectures
• Experience integrating ML/Generative AI and foundation models into enterprise solutions
• Robust data management, security, and governance for public sector and regulated environments; responsible AI practices
• Proven ability to lead multiple complex work streams and large teams with minimal direction
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate client delivery politics to meet objectives
• Active SC security clearance (required)
• Mentoring experience; ability to grow junior team members
