Private Client Solicitor – Cardiff – 3-6 Years’ PQE

Overview

In this role you will manage a varied private client caseload within a respected Welsh law firm. You will draft wills and trusts, handle estate administration and probate, and provide inheritance tax and succession planning advice. You’ll support elderly and vulnerable clients with empathy while building lasting client relationships to grow the department. Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of private client matters
• Draft wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
• Handle estate administration and probate
• Advise on inheritance tax and succession planning
• Support elderly and vulnerable clients with sensitivity and care
• Build long-term client relationships and contribute to department growth

Key requirements

• Around 3-6 years’ PQE in private client law
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts, and tax planning
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Confident managing own files with autonomy
• Genuine passion for helping clients navigate complex personal decisions
