Overview
In this role, you will manage the commercial aspects of RC-frame, new-build residential projects for a leading UK housebuilder. You will work within the commercial team to support cost control, procurement, and contractual reporting, contributing to the delivery of high-quality housing and community infrastructure. The position offers autonomy within a large, award-winning developer and exposure to a broad range of residential works. You will help shape projects from early development through to handover, within a collaborative, results-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Support cost planning and commercial management on RC-frame, new-build residential projects
- Monitor and control costs, budgets, and financial reporting
- Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier activities
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve commercial and contractual issues
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide transparent financial updates
Key requirements
- Experience on new-build residential developments
- RC-frame experience
- Track record with reputable housebuilders
- Able to work autonomously
- Excellent all-round commercial skills
- Full UK driver’s licence
- Degree qualification or other construction qualification (preferred)
- Autonomous / self-motivated
- Effective communication
