Overview
In this Operations role within Goldman Sachs, you will help manage risk and ensure smooth trade flow for Fixed Income products, working with clients, sales/trading desks, and technology partners. You’ll act as a subject matter expert to mitigate risk and drive process efficiencies in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor intraday trade processing, resolve exceptions, and participate in regulatory initiatives and system improvements. This is a collaborative, impact-driven role at a leading global firm.

Responsibilities
- Resolve open questions/issues with clients, Sales/Trading desks and stakeholders
- Become a subject matter expert to mitigate risk and drive efficiencies
- Manage real-time trade booking exceptions between trading desk and sales force
- Monitor and control operational risk across the trade processing life cycle
- Collaborate with technology and business partners to enhance systems and workflows
- Engage in industry and regulatory initiatives in a changing environment
- Collaborate with technology teams on process flow improvements and efficiencies
Key requirements
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and creative with very high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Highly collaborative and team-focused with ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals
- Effective problem solving and critical thinking with discretion and good judgment
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in Finance or related field
- Competency with MS Suite, especially Excel, and ability to learn multiple programs quickly
