Production Operator – Corrugated Packaging
Location: Desborough
Salary: £13.34 per hour (days) – £14.66 per hour (nights)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern
Training requirement: must be able to complete training on double days until January; training is still paid at night rate.
- Week 1: 6:00am-2:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Week 2: 2:00pm-10:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Night shift: 10:00pm-6:00am (Monday to Friday)
The Role
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating production machinery and helping to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Operating and monitoring production machinery.
- Setting and preparing machinery for production.
- Loading and handling raw materials.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
- Ensuring products meet customer and company specifications.
- Working to daily production targets.
- Identifying and reporting any machinery or production issues.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
About You
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who are keen to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operating, paper, printing or corrugated packaging would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
