Senior Product Designer (Mobile)

Overview

In this Senior Product Designer role, you will shape end-to-end native mobile experiences as ASOS undergoes a major digital transformation. You’ll work within cross-functional teams to solve customer problems through experimentation and data-driven decisions, leveraging AI to enhance how people discover and shop fashion. Your work will drive scalable design systems, craft-rich interactions, and accessible experiences across iOS and Android. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of native mobile experiences from discovery through shipped, measured, and iterated product
• Design and champion reusable patterns and components that scale across the mobile product, balancing design system usage and evolution
• Prototype early and often using Figma, code, or AI-assisted tools to speed idea validation
• Apply native platform craft with deep fluency in iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design, ensuring pixel-perfect execution and refined motion
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, business partners and stakeholders to drive end-to-end delivery and measure success
• Conduct and apply quantitative and qualitative research to validate design choices and keep decisions customer-led
• Use AI tools in design practice for exploration, prototyping, and production, and help the team build fluency
• Champion accessibility standards in all shipped work
• Understand technology, data, and business logic underpinning experiences and design within those constraints
• Communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and research findings clearly to influence stakeholders
• Stay updated on new AI capabilities, native platform updates, and emerging interaction patterns and apply them to work

Key requirements

• Significant experience designing native mobile products with fluency in iOS and/or Android conventions
• Systems thinker with ability to design a scalable pattern behind a single flow
• Prototyping to test and validate ideas beyond static decks
• AI-native in design process and excitement for AI-driven patterns
• Strong track record in user research and experimentation translating insights into design decisions
• Expert in Figma and modern prototyping tools, capable of evolving design system patterns
• Clear, confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders
• Adaptive, thrives in ambiguity with a growth mindset in a fast-moving, product-led environment
