Salary: Starting from £35,000

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming as required
• Identify imperfections, dents, or flaws on surfaces and address them appropriately before painting
• Utilize a range of tools and equipment, such as sanders, masking tape, spray guns, brushes and rollers, to achieve the desired finish
• Properly clean and maintain paint sprayers, guns, and associated tools to ensure optimal performance
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure work environment
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including paint quantities used and surfaces completed

Essential Criteria:

• Proficient in using various methods to apply paint, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers
• Knowledge and experience in accurately mixing and matching paint colours
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work
• Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations
• Competent in the operation and maintenance of paint sprayers, guns, and related tools
• Familiarity with different types of paints, primers, and coatings, and their applications in specific industries
• A keen eye for detail to identify imperfections, dents, or other flaws on surfaces and ensure they are properly addressed

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in a similar role within industries like automotive, construction, or manufacturing
• Ability to troubleshoot and address unexpected issues that may arise during the painting process
• Understanding of quality control procedures to ensure the final product meets industry standards and customer expectations
