Pre Construction Estimator

Overview

In this role you will support early project development by delivering accurate cost plans for social housing schemes. You’ll work with the commercial and technical teams to assess feasibility and influence procurement and value engineering. Your work will help shape the company’s pipeline of social housing developments and drive efficient, cost-aware solutions. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new build social housing schemes
• Support land acquisition and bid submissions with robust financial analysis
• Liaise with design, planning, and commercial teams to ensure cost-effective solutions
• Identify risks and opportunities during pre-construction phases
• Contribute to value engineering and procurement strategies
• Support early stages of project development

Key requirements

• Quantity Surveying background, ideally in residential or social housing
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen
• Experience in pre-construction or estimating roles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
